A hand mid-gesture, a grip, a hold, the full figure caught between one shape and the next. Close as a wrist or wide as the whole room.

I shoot for the gesture between poses. A pose is a decision. A gesture is an instinct. The arch, the release, the arm that goes somewhere no one directed.
